Agia Galini is a traditional fishermen port located on the beaches of South Crete, on the coast of the Libyan Sea. The village offers magnificent views on the Messara Bay.
Agia Galini keeps its picturesque character, and allows its visitors to combine sea and mountain. The village has an excellent beach of sand and small pebbles, with deep-blue waters.
The visitor can also climb up the surrounding hills, from where the panoramas are unique, and read by foot the neighboring and picturesque moutain village of Melambes.
Public bus services allow visitors to get to many spots of interest like Matala, Gortys, Phaistos and, a little bit more further, Rethymnon and Heraklion.
